Praise the Lord everyone. God is so awesome. He is doing marvelous things in our children. Children’s church is an excellent place and time to teach them about the magnificent works of God. They learn that what He does for the adults, He will also do for them. They have the faith and they’ll learn how to put that faith to work. If only we had that kind of faith, just think about the wonders we could see. Children’s church is such as blessing to me. To have the children come up and ask if we are having Children’s church, then seeing the smile on their faces when I answer.
We call ourselves the “Pentecostal Eagles.” They are eagles for Christ, which are strong and can soar above and beyond anything. They are learning that if they keep their wings spread they can overcome any obstacle that Satan throws in their way. I will be teaching them that they can do this by reading their Bible and praying each day.
We are the life cycle of the eagle to heart. Right now, December of 2007, we are on “Hatchling Lane” because they are just emerged from their eggs and are ready to start their journey for Christ. They will then be traveling to “Eaglet Avenue.” After fulfilling the 3 steps to salvation - repentance, water baptism in Jesus’ name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost evident by speaking in other tongues - they will end up on “Wingspan Avenue.” At this point they will be ready to soar for the Lord. These children are on fire for God and ready to conquer the wiles of the devil. They are eagles in training and they are ready to fly.
